SCIENCE

WE ARE LEARNING ABOUT
VOLCANOES & EARTHQUAKES

Big Ideas
·    The Earth is very old and continuously changing
·    Landforms are continuously being built up and broken down through the process of tectonics and volcanism
·    The outer layer of the Earth is called the crust. The crust consists of tectonic plates, which are in very gradual motion

We started our Science learning with a brainstorm and an introduction experiment to show a representation of a volcano erupting.
