This term to develop our Oral Language skills we are having “Couch
Talk”.
Couch Talk
is a recorded small group discussion about what is going on at Halcombe School
and Room 4 each fortnight. They will retell the newsletter and become confident
to speak about a variety of topics.
Children will learn to:
- Use a clear and loud enough voice
- Ask and answer questions from their peers
- Express opinions and feelings
- Identify and recall factual information
- Participate confidently in discussion
- Begin to use humour
