We are reading a novel called “Because of Winn-Dixie” (Willow, Seth, Emma, Holly, Georgia, Aaliyah, Kai, Grace and Blake)
So far we have learnt:

To answer questions in full sentences and with
lots of detail

To skim and scan to find evidence we need to back
up our answers
·
To reread chapters and parts to get a full and
clear understanding of what is happening
·
To understand metaphors that the author has used
·
To fully understand how the characters feel
·
To make connections between the characters

ReplyDeleteThe Winn-Dixie book is an great book to read, but the questions are harder than you would think. Well done Winn-Dixie group it is an hard task! Keep it up.
ReplyDeleteWinn-Dixie is one of the best books I've ever read! Some of the questions are really tough but we are all getting a lot better at answering the tricky questions.
